I finished my Economics PhD in June of 2007. I studied at Exeter University, UK, under the supervision of John Maloney, Malcolm Macmillen and Nigar Hashimzade. Before going to Exeter, I completed my MSc at Kobe University, Japan, under the supervision of Shoji Nishijima. 

I am a member of NIPE (The Economic Policy Research Centre) at the University of Minho (Portugal) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

I am a contributor to the CORE Econ Project (https://www.core-econ.org/), an Associate of the Economics Network (https://www.economicsnetwork.ac.uk/) and a member of the Steering Group of BCUR, the British Council of Undergraduate Research (https://www.bcur.org/). 

Currently, I am working as an Associate Professor in Economics and Subject Lead (Pedagogy), at the Department of Economics of the Exeter University Business School in the UK.
